AFTER 3 DAYS OF INTENSE COMPETITION THE TEAMS ARE NOW FIGHTING FOR THE FORTH AND FINAL PLAYOFF SPOT

       Western Australia who have been very disappointing, kept their slim playoff hopes alive as they defeated Queensland in the last game of the evening 5-3. This is a real shock to fans and players alike, WA have never missed the playoffs in 25 years, and have won 10 National Championships over the years. They will be looking for a lot of answers when they look towards next season.Nothern territories pitcher who has pitched well but they lack hitting to support him.
         ACT have kept showing their dominance as they scored 27 runs in 3 games as WA, Victoria and New South Wales all fell to there powerful batting attack,and the leathel pitching of Adam Folkard and Andrew Kirkpatrick

          Queensland defeated New South Wales in the best game of the day as both teams had 10 hits, both used 3 pitchers, but Queensland with a key homerun at the right time in the top of the 7th inning, hung on for an 8-6 victory. Friday will be a big day as 3 teams have their eye on the 2nd spot, which will gain them a 2nd chance in the Playoffs.
Debbie Groves a very very respected umpire and has been umpiring our mens game for over 20 years. A legend in the eyes of mens softball and has a chance to relax before the next game.
